Last spring, I took a class called Techniques of Food Preparation at UCF’s Rosen College of Hospitality. Whether you are event or restaurant or just general hospitality major, you are required to take this class. It doesn’t matter whether you know how to cook or not. You’ll learn! And we have some amazing professors. I took Professor Ashley and Chef Frank, and I loved it! Basically, it was Hell’s Kitchen, Iron Chef and all those other competitive cooking shows mashed into one. I learned so many things form that class…and I have been cooking for as long as I could remember! And of course, we got free food (and depending on how good you made it, you ate good too!) Here are some of the things that I made in class. I’ll also post recipes for all of these soon!
