One of the best things about living in the Orlando Kissimmee area is that you are literally just miles away from the magic of Disney World. I am always down for a spontaneous trip to the happiest place on earth, whether it be to spend the entire day or just have a quick dinner around the world around Epcot (one of my favorite pastimes). I decided to just pop into one of my favorite resorts at WDW and have breakfast.
Located just outside Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Grand Floridian is one of the premier resorts at Disney World. Rooms go for around $400 a night, but being a local with an annual pass, allows me to explore around the resort and parks without having to pay to stay the night. Right before my morning class, I stopped by the Grand Floridian Cafe. For breakfast I chose the Poached Eggs on a Toasted English Muffin, Canadian Bacon, and Key Lime Hollandaise Sauce served with Asparagus and Broiled Tomato Au Gratin. And paired with a nice mimosa – I was all set for the day! Not only was the food great, but the service was just phenomenal. And who could say no to a view like this? You know what they say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day! If you’re ever at the Walt Disney World Resort, especially at the Grand Floridian, don’t forget to make a stop here at the Cafe!
