First off, thanks for reading my blog and for clicking this page to find out more about me!
I’m a recent alumni from The Rosen College of Hospitality Management at The University of Central Florida. Go Knights and Charge On!
During my college career, I’m been involved in being a refounding father for the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity, the Knight Camp 2014 Student Director, an O-Team Leader, a Resident Assistant for Rosen/Towers/NorthView, Eta Sigma Delta, Rosen Life, and an Undergraduate Admissions Ambassador. That may or may not have been me in the cover of the parking guide, undergraduate admissions magazine or university postcards. I may or may not have been in a reality TV cooking show with my floor mates freshman year.
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had a love for the hospitality industry whether it’s a restaurant or hotel. Do what you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.
The highlight of my high school career was being crowned Mister Ridgeview 2011. Oh and graduating from the International Baccalaureate Program.
I love to travel because it’s amazing seeing new places, trying new foods and meeting new people.
I’m a city person. I love the hustle and bustle of the city. I’m currently living in Atlanta and I’m loving it so far. I plan to move back to Chicago one day.
I love anything international, whether it be food, music, languages, events, people or cultures from around the world. I listen to foreign music, even if I don’t understand it. I watch foreign movies and shows…even if I don’t understand them, thank God for subtitles. I also live for international events like the Olympics, the Eurovision Song Contest, Miss Universe, FIFA and more. There’s a weekend in May every year where I will shamelessly live tweet about Eurovision non-stop for a few days.
I love learning new languages. I can currently speak English, Tagalog, French, Spanish and German.
Wanna see a grown Peter Reyes cry? Take me to watch Disney’s Wishes or Illuminations and I will be in tears. Oh and I love Disney World if you haven’t guessed already.
I love to cook. Most of my blog will probably be foods, recipes or restaurant visits!
I love graphic design. I am interested in various concept arts for events and shows as well as typography and fonts!
I’m always fascinated with cultures and people from around the world, so feel free to say hi!
