If there’s anything I love more than trying out new restaurants, it’s trying out new restaurants with a view. And Capa at Four Seasons Orlando is the place to be. Located smack dab in the middle of Walt Disney World, Four Seasons Orlando is the first five diamond resort to open up in the city. One of their signature restaurants is Capa which is a contemporary Spanish steakhouse that offers the option of a high end dining experience or a more casual tapas style dining. One thing’s for sure, you’ll be treated to a spectacular fireworks show at dinner!
But before we get on with dinner, let’s explore this gorgeous resort. One of my favorite things about the Four Seasons Orlando is the unparalleled service that you’ll receive from arrival to departure. When you walk in, you are greeted by the door staff and make sure to look up once you’re in the lobby. The chandelier is a sight, very modern and a statement that sets the tone to this resort.
Walk down the stairs and head outside to explore the amenities of this resort – it’s huge. It may be a five diamond resort, but the place still feels comfortable and not pretentious and ornate like some five diamonds I’ve been to. The pools are abundant here and the interior of this resort is just as gorgeous. It reflects the modern luxury that this resort exudes. Head to the elevators to Capa. While we waited for our seats, we were shown to the outdoor terrace and it was gorgeous. On your left is Epcot, right is Magic Kingdom and right below is the gorgeous pools at the resort. Take a look at the bar menu: it’s a tablet.
If you can, request for an outdoor table. You won’t regret it. If you do sit inside the restaurant, it’s not the end of the world, the servers do let you know when the fireworks are happening. We opted in for a more casual tapas style dinner. I highly recommend the pork belly, patatas bravas, snails, and especially their cauliflower/kale. We actually got seconds of that since we couldn’t get enough. Also try their cocktails, as they are unique and very good!
On to the best part of the night: the fireworks. Epcot’s Illuminations is first to go usually at around 9-9.30ish. Make sure to ask the server or check online for specific times. Then at around 10 is Magic Kingdom’s Wishes show. Both shows do not disappoint.
Make sure to leave room for dessert! I got the spicy chocolate ice cream with chocolate mousse and I could not get enough. It was absolutely amazing.
I can’t wait to actually stay at this resort as dining here was a fantastic experience. If you’re in the Disney area, and looking for a nice fine dining experience with a fireworks show, Capa is your perfect pick. Bon appetit!
